Ultrasonic Testing Technician

Tods Aerospace has a vacancy for an Ultrasonic Testing Technician.

Tods Aerospace is an AS9100 accredited company that specialises in the design, development and manufacture of Aerospace composite components, structures and assemblies.

The company’s main customers include – AgustaWestland, Airbus, GKN Aerospace,BE Aerospace and Contour Premium Aircraft Seating.

The main duties will be:

• Ultrasonic Testing of composite detail parts and assemblies
• Supporting other Test Laboratory functions such as mechanical testing and development.
• Candidate skills:
• Qualified to EN4179/NAS410 or PCN Aero Level 2 UT
• Experience of working with composite materials in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous
• Must be capable of developing and writing UT Techniques
• Knowledge of Bond Testing and Radiographic Testing would be an advantage but not essential
• Adaptable, personally motivated with a continuous improvement mindset

Hours of work

Monday-Thursday 0730-1600, Friday 0730-1400
