IN-HOUSE HIGH STANDARDS ACCREDITED BY IMechE. – TODS

Young engineers who are working towards their Incorporated or Chartered Engineers qualifications, at composite materials group W & J Tod Limited (TODS) have been given a boost by the respected Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) who have ‘accredited’ the Company’s in-house engineering training programme.

Somerset-based TODS design and manufacture a diverse range of high precision lightweight products for the international aerospace, marine and mass transit manufacturers, and currently employ more than 120 at sites in Crewkerne and Portland.

Mentoring the TODS engineering training programme is Tom Hitchings Aerospace Director, himself a Chartered Engineer of 25 years standing, who says: “The Accreditation from IMechE, the leading professional engineering institution, confirms that we are correctly focused in the support of our young engineers. TODS are committed to attracting and motivating young people to attain the highest levels of professionalism in their engineering careers.”

TODS accreditation will now be listed on the IMechE website.
