TODS AIRCRAFT SEAT PLINTHS FURTHER ESTABLISHED IN PREMIUM INTERIORSCrewkerne-based TODS AEROSPACE LIMITED has secured further orders for approx. 2000 thermoplastic structural seat plinths, for Premium Class accommodation areas, aboard Boeing 747 & 777, and Airbus A330 aircraft. The £multi-million orders have been placed by Contour Premium Aircraft Seating and are for the supply of aircraft interiors for both Far East and North American carriers. The seating plinths, manufactured by TODS, have been specifically developed to meet the aerospace industry’s primary consideration for weight efficient structures. As one of the most critical structural components in the seating modules on-board the aircraft, the thermoplastic composite plinth offers superior strength, long life expectancy and minimal maintenance costs.
