TODS RECIEVE GOLD ‘QUALITY’ AWARD FROM AGUSTAWESTLAND

Tods Aerospace continues to consolidate their supplier status with the granting of the highest ‘Gold’ Incoming Quality System Award from helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland.

As a lead supplier for a range of composite airframe products across a number of military helicopter systems, Tods Aerospace engineering and production teams have worked closely with their AgustaWestland counterparts through their exacting Quality assessment route from Bronze to Silver and finally to IQS21 Gold Award. For the Award Tods, Crewkerne specialist production site successfully passed a comprehensive series of audits and source inspection visits over a 4 year period. Tods have also maintained the required delivery Quality rating of better than 99%.

On receiving the award from AgustaWestland’s Jerry Prideaux , Supply Chain Manager - UK Martyn Perks, Tods Aerospace Quality Control Director said: "Everyone here at Tods has contributed to this achievement. I am proud to accept this award on behalf of the company. We have worked in close partnership with Agusta Westland over several years both with a common aim, to achieve the highest product standards. With the IQS21 Gold Award in place and operational this will be the benchmark from where we will further improve and exploit our composite engineering expertise across our international customer base".
